Circuit Tiers, Sponsors & Promotion/Relegation

Structure a circuit into ranked tiers and geographic regions, then manage circuit-level sponsors with logo uploads, tiered badges, drag-and-drop reordering, and performance analytics.

Beyond the basic circuit setup covered in Circuits and Seasons, a circuit's Overview tab includes a Circuit Structure section for defining competitive tiers and geographic regions. Tiers give a circuit a promotion/relegation-style hierarchy — ranked competitive levels such as Premier, Challenger, and Open — while regions divide a circuit geographically, each with its own qualification slot count. Separately, the Sponsors tab supports full sponsor management: logo uploads, tiered badges, drag-and-drop reordering, bulk actions, and performance analytics.

Step by step

1. Add tiers

  1. On the circuit's Overview tab, find the Tiers card in the Circuit Structure section.
  2. Click Add Tier to open the create dialog.
  3. Enter a machine name (a short lowercase identifier, for example premier) and a display name (for example "Premier"). The machine name can't be changed once the tier is created.
  4. Set the order — 1 is the top tier, with higher numbers ranking progressively lower. This ordering is what gives the circuit its promotion/relegation-style structure: participants in a higher-order tier compete at a more prestigious level than those in a lower one.
  5. Optionally set a prize multiplier (for example 2.0 for a top tier, 1.0 for a baseline tier) to reflect that higher tiers carry a larger share of the prize pool, and add a description.
  6. Save. Repeat for each competitive level in the circuit — a typical setup might use Premier (2.0x), Challenger (1.2x), and Open (1.0x).
  7. Use the pencil and trash icons on each tier row to edit or delete it.

2. Add regions

  1. In the same Circuit Structure section, find the Regions card.
  2. Click Add Region to open the create dialog.
  3. Enter a machine name (for example eu), a display name (for example "Europe"), and a short code (for example "EU").
  4. Set the order to control how regions are sorted, and set qualification slots to the number of participants from that region who advance toward the circuit's overall standings.
  5. Add an optional description and save. Repeat for each region — for example Europe (4 slots), North America (3 slots), and Latin America (2 slots).
  6. Edit or delete a region using the icons on its row.

Tiers and regions you create here are reflected in the counts shown on the circuit's Overview stats, alongside the tournament and participant totals described in Circuits and Seasons.

3. Add and edit circuit sponsors

  1. Navigate to the Sponsors tab within the circuit.
  2. Click Add Sponsor.
  3. Enter the sponsor's name, an optional website, and a tier — Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze. The tier controls the color of the badge shown next to the sponsor's name.
  4. Upload a logo image file (PNG, JPG, or SVG). The dialog accepts a file directly rather than a hosted URL.
  5. Save to create the sponsor, or open an existing sponsor with the pencil icon to update any of these fields.
  6. Use the trash icon on a sponsor's row to delete it individually (you'll be asked to confirm).

4. Reorder sponsors

Drag a sponsor by the handle on the left of its row to change its display position. The new order saves automatically; if the save fails, the list reverts to its previous order.

5. Use bulk sponsor actions

  1. Check the box on one or more sponsor rows, or click Select All to select every sponsor.
  2. With sponsors selected, a toolbar appears letting you:
    • Change tier for all selected sponsors at once — in addition to Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze, bulk tier changes also support Title and Partner tiers.
    • Delete selected to remove multiple sponsors in one action (with a confirmation prompt).
  3. Click Clear Selection to deselect everything without taking an action.

6. Review sponsor performance analytics

Click Show Analytics at the top of the Sponsors tab to reveal a summary panel showing the total number of sponsors, a breakdown of sponsor count by tier, and the average display position for each tier. Click Hide Analytics to collapse it again.
