Custom Fields

Collect additional information from participants during registration using custom fields.

Custom fields let you gather information beyond the default registration data — for example, a player's in-game name, rank, Discord username, country, or any other detail relevant to your tournament. You define the fields once in settings, and they appear on the registration form for every participant who signs up.

Where to find it

Projects → [Project] → [Tournament] → Settings → Custom Fields

Step by step

Adding a custom field:

  1. Go to Settings → Custom Fields.
  2. Click Add field.
  3. Choose the field type: Text, Number, Dropdown, Checkbox, URL, or other available types.
  4. Enter the field label — for example, In-Game Name or Discord Username.
  5. Set whether the field is required or optional for participants to fill in.
  6. Choose the scope:
    • Team-level — one response per team, filled in by the team captain.
    • Player-level — one response per individual player on the team (or per solo participant).
  7. Click Save. The field now appears in the registration form.

Viewing responses:

  • Open any registration in the Registrations list to see the participant's responses to all custom fields.
  • Use export to download all custom field data for all participants at once as a CSV file.

Note: If you enabled country or birthdate restrictions in participant rules, those fields are collected automatically and do not need to be added as custom fields. See participant and match rules for details.

What happens next

  • View custom field responses when reviewing registrations.
  • Export participants to get all custom field data in a spreadsheet.
  • Configure which information is required during registration via participant and match rules.
