Check-In

Confirm which accepted participants will attend before the tournament starts.

Check-in is an optional confirmation step that runs after registration closes and before the tournament begins. It lets you find out which accepted participants will actually show up, so you can seed brackets and set up matches with accurate numbers. You can let participants check themselves in, or mark them in yourself — for example, at a LAN event where you verify attendance at the venue.

Where to find it

Settings → Registration → Check-in (to enable and configure), then Participants → Check-in (to manage).

Step by step

Enabling check-in:

  1. Go to Settings → Registration.
  2. Turn on the Check-in option.
  3. Set the check-in window — the start and end times during which check-in is open.
  4. Choose the mode:
    • Participant check-in — participants check themselves in through the player-facing site before the event starts.
    • Organizer check-in — you manually mark participants as checked in, which is useful for offline or LAN events where you verify attendance in person.
  5. Save your settings.

Managing check-in:

  1. Navigate to Participants → Check-in.
  2. Review which participants have checked in and which have not.
  3. To manually toggle a participant's check-in status, click the toggle next to their name — this works in both modes.
  4. When seeding brackets or setting up placement, filter the participant list to show only checked-in participants so you are working with confirmed attendees only.

What happens next

  • Proceed to seeding and placement using the confirmed, checked-in participant list.
  • Return to manage registrations if you need to accept or waitlist additional participants before check-in closes.
