Monitor and Control a Live Tournament

The Live Operations dashboard gives you a real-time view of every active match, pending match, and operational event in your tournament.

The Live Operations workspace is the control room for a tournament in progress. From one screen you can see the full state of your event, act on problems as they surface, and communicate with all participants without switching between views.

Where to find it

Projects → [Project] → [Tournament] → Live Operations

Direct path: projects/[id]/tournaments/[id]/live-ops/

What you see

  • Active matches — matches currently being played, with live status indicators
  • Pending matches — matches scheduled but not yet started, including readiness status for each participant
  • Delayed or problematic matches — matches flagged automatically when a start is overdue or an issue has been raised
  • Participant readiness — per-match view of which participants have checked in and which have not
  • Intervention history — a running audit trail of every action taken by staff during the event
  • Broadcast controls — send a tournament-wide message to all participants at once

Step by step

  1. Open the tournament and click Live Operations in the left navigation.
  2. Review the Active matches panel. Click any match card to open its detail view and controls.
  3. Check the Pending matches panel for any participants who have not confirmed readiness before their scheduled start time.
  4. Use the Issues tab to see any open problems staff have logged during the event.
  5. To pause the entire tournament — for example, during a server outage — click Pause tournament in the top action bar and confirm.
  6. To resume, click Resume tournament in the same bar.
  7. To send a broadcast message to all participants, click Broadcast, compose your message, and click Send.
  8. To cancel the tournament entirely, click Cancel tournament, enter the reason, and confirm. This action is irreversible.

What happens next

If a specific match needs attention, open it directly from the Active or Pending panel and apply the appropriate action. See Match interventions for available controls.

If a problem has been reported or escalated, use the issue queue to track and resolve it. See Issue management.
