Registration Settings

How to configure registration windows, limits, auto-accept, fees, and notifications for a tournament.

Registration settings control when and how participants can sign up for your tournament. You can set a precise open and close window, cap the number of spots, automate approvals, redirect players after sign-up, and manage fees — all from a single settings page.

Where to find it

Navigate to Projects → [Your Project] → [Tournament] → Settings → Registration.

Step by step

General tab

  1. Enable registration — Toggle registration on to allow participants to sign up. While the toggle is off, the registration form is hidden from the public tournament page.
  2. Set the registration open date — Choose the date and time when registration becomes available to participants.
  3. Set the registration close date — Choose the date and time when registration automatically closes. After this point, new sign-ups are blocked.
  4. Set a maximum registrations limit (optional) — Enter a number to cap total registrations. Once the cap is reached, new sign-ups are blocked automatically even if the close date has not passed yet.
  5. Enable auto-accept (optional) — When turned on, every incoming registration is approved automatically without requiring manual review. Leave this off if you want to review and approve each participant individually.
  6. Set a registration redirect URL (optional) — Enter a URL to send participants to after they complete registration, such as a Discord invite, a payment page, or an external onboarding form.
  7. Configure registration fees — Enable fees if this is a paid tournament, then set the entry fee amount and currency. Players will be prompted to pay before their registration is confirmed.

Customization tab

  1. Set the acceptance message — Write a custom message shown to participants when their registration is approved.
  2. Set the refusal message — Write a custom message shown to participants when their registration is declined.

Notifications tab

  1. Configure organizer notifications — Choose which registration events (new sign-up, cancellation, etc.) trigger an email to the organizer.
  2. Configure player notifications — Choose which events (approval, rejection, waitlist, etc.) trigger an email to the participant.

What happens next

Once registration is open and participants start signing up, manage them under Manage Registrations. If you need to collect extra information from registrants, see Custom Fields to add questions to the registration form.
