Quick-Start: Your First Tournament
Create a project, build a tournament inside it, and share the registration link — end to end.
Tournaments in Tournament Suite live inside Projects. A Project is the top-level container — think of it as a program or brand (for example, "Spring Invitational 2026"). You create the Project first, then create one or more Tournaments inside it. This guide walks you through both steps and gets you to a published registration link.
Where to find it
After logging in, the Projects section is in the left sidebar of your organizer dashboard.
Step by step
1. Create a project
- In the sidebar, click Projects.
- Click Create project.
- Enter a name for your project (for example, "Spring Invitational 2026").
- Click Save. You are taken to the project overview page.
2. Create a tournament inside the project
- Inside the project, click Tournaments in the left sidebar.
- Click Create tournament.
- Choose a template if you want a pre-configured format, or select Start from scratch.
3. Configure basic settings
- Enter the tournament Name.
- Select the Game / Discipline (for example, CS2, Valorant, or a custom discipline).
- Set the Participant type — either Teams or Individual players.
4. Set registration dates
- Set a Registration opens date and time.
- Set a Registration closes date and time.
5. Publish and share
- Click Publish. The tournament is now live and visible to participants.
- Copy the Registration link from the tournament overview page.
- Share the link with your participants. They will see the player-facing registration page.
What happens next
You now have a published tournament with an open registration. The next steps depend on your format, but common follow-on tasks are:
- Create a project — details on project settings and managing multiple tournaments per project
- Create a tournament — full configuration options including brackets, stages, and seeding
- Manage registrations — approve, reject, and organize incoming registrations
